Who We Are
The National Sports Bar League℠ was created by Chuck Nardizzi and Dean Scaros. As long time marketing professionals they recognized the tremendous untapped potential for a new kind of sports league which would enable Sports Bars to compete against each other in real time, and finally determine who the best sports fans are, where they are and what sports bars are best in class.
Currently, Chuck and Dean are partners in Getty Heights, LLC, a marketing consulting firm which has developed and manages the National Sports Bar League℠.
Chuck founded and served as CEO of one of the nation’s premier promotion marketing agencies acquired by WPP/Ogilvy & Mather. Among Chuck’s well-known marketing credentials is his acknowledged leadership in sports marketing for nearly three decades. During his years at Pepsi-Cola Chuck developed the NBA Hotshot program; the Diet Pepsi 10K run; the PGA mixed Team Championship; and the Mountain Dew Superstars program. In addition, he has created innumerable marketing communications campaigns for clients including Coca-Cola, HBO, Bailey’s Irish Cream and DuPont.
Dean has a Ph.D. in Communications from New York University and has spent 30 years in marketing and advertising. He served as President & COO of Backer Spielvogel Bates/USA (one of the nation’s largest advertising agencies) and later co-founded Scaros & Casselman Advertising which he sold to a large agency network. Dean’s expertise in brand building has contributed to the growth of many of the nation’s strongest brands, most notably, Miller Lite, Miller Genuine Draft, Prudential Insurance, Wendy’s, Hyundai, Coca-Cola, Holiday Inn, J.P. Morgan, and many others.
